The Editorial Board of “The Journal of Azerbaijani Studies», in fulfilling the wish and offer of a group of scholars from different countries, has designed a research project with the participation of local and international scholars. The project ran around two years and ended in the form of an International Symposium, held in Baku , Azerbaijan on May, 2009.The Editorial Board of “The Journal of Azerbaijani Studies” has decided to publish all approved articles in the language in which they were written by authors and presented at the Symposium with an abstract in English.
